Corrections and Data Disputes
EFFECTIVE: JUL 11, 2026
VERSION: 2026-07-11
First published Corrections and Data Disputes policy, describing who may request a correction, what to submit, how requests are reviewed, and how published corrections are recorded. Prior versions: 2026-07-11.
AltHarbor aims to make source evidence and methodology visible, and to correct material errors responsibly. This policy explains how to challenge a specific displayed value or statement and what happens after you do.
Who may request a correction
Anyone — a reader, an issuer, a manager, or any other affected person — may request a correction of a specific displayed value or statement on AltHarbor.
What to submit
Send your request to corrections@altharbor.io and include:
- the fund and share class;
- the field, page, or report at issue, with its URL;
- the value or statement currently displayed;
- the change you are requesting;
- the supporting source document, with its date and the relevant page or section; and
- your relationship to the fund and any compensation interest in the outcome.
How AltHarbor reviews a request
AltHarbor editors review the submitted evidence against the documented source hierarchy and reach a conclusion independently. Submitting a request does not ensure a revision: AltHarbor distinguishes a verifiable factual error from a methodological or editorial disagreement.
Payment and requester status never determine the outcome. Only AltHarbor editors change published data.
Timing and status
AltHarbor acknowledges requests and communicates the decision once review is complete. Complex requests may take longer.
While a material dispute is pending, the affected item may carry a neutral "under review" label. A status label does not mean the requester’s position has been accepted.
Published corrections
When AltHarbor corrects a material item, the published correction records what changed, when it changed, and why. Published corrections do not expose the requester’s personal data.
Confidentiality
Do not include confidential information, material nonpublic information, or personal data that is not needed for the request. Requests containing such material may be declined or returned.
