Conflicts and Compensation
EFFECTIVE: JUL 11, 2026
VERSION: 2026-07-11
First published Conflicts and Compensation page, stating the coverage-is-not-sold policy, the current absence of commercial arrangements, and the advance-disclosure commitment for any future relationship. This is the first published version.
You should be able to tell whether anyone paid for what you are reading on AltHarbor. This page states AltHarbor’s operating policy on compensation and conflicts, and will be updated before any change to that policy takes effect.
Principle: coverage is not sold
AltHarbor’s operating policy is that coverage is not sold. Under current policy, AltHarbor does not accept payment from any issuer, manager, or sponsor for coverage, placement, ranking, or the outcome of a correction request.
Current relationships
As of the effective date of this page, AltHarbor has no advertising, affiliate, or sponsorship arrangements in operation.
If that ever changes
If AltHarbor ever enters a commercial relationship that could bear on coverage, that relationship will be disclosed on this page and beside the affected content before it takes effect — not after. AltHarbor maintains this commitment as a relationship register: no relationship that could affect coverage operates undisclosed.
Operator disclosures
Disclosures about operator ownership, employment, and related personal interests are pending verification. This page will be updated when those disclosures are resolved. Until then, do not infer independence, affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship from the presence or absence of coverage.
Editorial independence
AltHarbor’s revenue model is intended to be subscriber and enterprise access, independent of coverage decisions. Subscriptions purchase product access, not editorial control.
Corrections are decided on evidence, regardless of who requests them. A fund or manager may submit evidence, but payment or requester status never determines the outcome. See Corrections.
