Our commitment
AltHarbor is committed to building a research service that people with disabilities can use. Accessibility work spans keyboard operation, visible focus, semantic structure, text contrast, zoom and reflow, form labels and error messages, descriptive link text, and reduced-motion preferences.
Standard
AltHarbor targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its product standard. Conformance has not yet been independently verified, and AltHarbor does not currently make a conformance claim. This statement will be updated when an independent assessment is completed.
Known limitations
Some parts of the service do not yet meet the target standard. Known limitations include:
- Complex data visualizations — some charts do not yet provide complete text alternatives.
- Dense tables — some data-dense tables can be difficult to navigate with assistive technology.
Text alternatives and accessible data views for these surfaces are being expanded.
